Getting client's DUI reduced in Fulton state court. On Thursday, March 8, 2018, I appeared with my client in Fulton State Court. He had been arrested for speeding and DUI. Following negotiations with the prosecutor, I convinced the court to reduce the DUI charge to reckless driving, and to reduce the speed to 79 MPH in a 65 MPH zone. My client will be on probation for 12 months, but he can terminate early by paying a $400 fine, attending a defensive driving class, and serving 40 hours of community service. Fighting my clients high speed ticket in Fulton County Juvenile Court On Monday, March 5, 2018, I appeared with my client and his father in the Fulton County Juvenile Court. My client was charged with driving 100 mph in a 65 mph zone. Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I got the court to agree to reduce my client’s Speed to 74 mph, which is 9 mph over the speed limit. My client is required to take a defensive driving class, which I have already had him complete. He will be required to produce a one page essay on the dangers of speeding and drive only two in from necessities, school, work, etc. He’s required to pay a $100 fine today and he is placed on phone in probation for 30 days. This is a wonderful outcome for this young man and his family.
