Getting client’s expired tag charge dismissed in Atlanta City Court. On Thursday, March 8, 2018, I appeared on behalf of my client in Atlanta City Court. My client was unable to attend court and I was there to fight his expired tag, registration charge. Following negotiations with the prosecutor, I was able to get the court to allow my client a pretrial diversion. Fighting client’s following too close charge in City of Atlanta On Thursday, March 8, 2018, I appeared with my client in Atlanta City Court. He had been charged with a following too close accident. Following negotiations with the prosecutor, and after presenting evidence that his insurance company had settled with the other driver, I got the court to agree to allow my client to plead to a basic rules violation. This case was reset to 4/12/18 at 8:00 AM, for presentation of the formal documents. Fighting my clients high speed ticket in Fulton County Juvenile Court On Monday, March 5, 2018, I appeared with my client and his father in the Fulton County Juvenile Court. My client was charged with driving 100 mph in a 65 mph zone. Following negotiation with the prosecutor, I got the court to agree to reduce my client’s Speed to 74 mph, which is 9 mph over the speed limit. My client is required to take a defensive driving class, which I have already had him complete. He will be required to produce a one page essay on the dangers of speeding and drive only two in from necessities, school, work, etc. He’s required to pay a $100 fine today and he is placed on phone in probation for 30 days. This is a wonderful outcome for this young man and his family. He could have lost all driving privileges.

This accident involves three cars, all traffic is slowed on the inside perimeter. Traffic accident with right lane blocked on Highway 141 S. and Lenix Road. On Tuesday, January 16, 2018, I appeared with my client in the Alpharetta Municipal Court My client had been arrested for driving 101 mph in a 65 mph zone. He was also charged with reckless driving and underage possession of alcohol. I had previously negotiated with the prosecutor and the court for a hold and clear. A hold and clear can be thought of as an earned dismissal. My client had completed 100 hours of community service and a defensive driving course.
