This is my client's first in a lifetime possession charge. After negotiations, I was able to get the prosecutor to agree to an earned dismissal. My client must perform community service work, attend a drug and alcohol a valuation program, and submit to random testing. This is a big win for my client. After considerable negotiation with the prosecutor, I got court to agree to reduce the charge to simple battery, provided, my client agreed to a Nolo Contendere settlement.
