April 12, 2016, I'm in the Alpharetta Municipal Court accompanied by my client, to answer to the charge of shoplifting. This is my client's third in a lifetime shoplifting charge. After considerable negotiations with the prosecutor, I was able to get the shoplifting charge cleared and held. This means that the file will be held for 12 months, and as long as my client follows the instructions of the court, the charge will be dismissed.
