Do not pass a stopped school bus! A school bus that is stopped with its red light blinking and stop signs extended, is considered a safety zone for its passengers. The blinking red lights and extended stop signs, announce that, children are either loading in the bus or unloading from the bus. You must stop your vehicle behind the school bus, and remain stopped until the stop signs have been retracted and the red lights have stopped blinking. Law enforcement officials, aggressively patrol the areas around school zones. Drive slowly with caution in and around school zones.A school bus that is stopped with its red light blinking and stop signs extended, is considered a safety zone for its passengers.

: These are the reasons to drive slowly in a school zone. (1) Our children are busy focusing all of their attention in conversation with other children. They are, for the most part, unaware of the drivers passing by. The slightest inattention but a driver in a school zone may have tragic consequences. (2) Remember, that school zones are intended to be protective areas where our children can walk safely. (3) Traffic fines in school zones can be double or triple the cost of the same ticket in a non-school zone. (4) Any traffic ticket issued in a school zone is usually prosecuted aggressively.School zones are filled with our most precious commodity, our children. Protect our children, drive slowly and carefully in school zones.

Getting client's battery charge dismissed in Gwinnett. On February 2, 2017, I appeared for my client in the Gwinnett State Court. My client, who has moved to Florida, and no longer lives in Georgia, is facing the charge of charge of battery. Following considerable discussions with the prosecutor, I was able to negotiate a dismissal of charges with conditions, and my client will not need to return to Georgia. He must complete six anger management classes, which he can do in Florida, and he must pay a fee to the DeKalb State Court. I will attend the compliance hearing for him. After all of this is completed, I can start his record restriction proceedings. This is a wonderful result for this client!Getting client's battery charge dismissed in Gwinnett. Getting client's lane change violation with accident dismissed in DeKalb On January 20, 2017, I appeared in the DeKalb Recorders Court for my client, who lives in the State of Washington. This client, who is a professional truck driver, was making a delivery in Decatur, Georgia. While my client was moving his truck from one lane to another, he was involved in an accident, and he was ticketed for improper lane change with accident. Prior to my appearing in court for him, I got the client to provide me with a statement from his insurance carrier stating that the damage to the other party's vehicle had been repaired satisfactorily. Based on this information, and the fact that my client has a negative driving history, I was able to close the case with a dismissal, and my client did not have to return to Georgia to attend the court proceedings. There will no record of this made with the State of Georgia, and no points will be added to his driver's licenseOn January 20, 2017, I appeared in the DeKalb Recorders Court for my client, who lives in the State of Washington.
