Fighting teenagers aggressive driving in Alpharetta. I appeared with my client, who is a 17-year-old high school senior, in the Alpharetta City Court. He had been charged with aggressive driving. I got the prosecutor to agree to a hold and clear. The hold in clear gives my client 90 days to perform specific obligations, and in 90 days the charge would be considered dismissed. The results will be as if this incident had never happened. If my client had been found guilty today, his license to drive would have been suspended. : Fighting under 21-year-old client's following too close charge. I appeared with my client in Cobb State Court. She was charged with a following too close accident. The fact that she is under 21 years of age increases the severity of the penalty, if she is found guilty. I provided evidence to the court that the other driver's auto claim was satisfied. I convinced the prosecutor to change this following too close charge, to a non-reporting offense. This is a wonderful outcome for my client! I appeared with my client in Johns Creek City Court to fight her school zone speeding ticket. She was charged with driving 42 mph in a 25 mph school zone. Following negotiations with the prosecutor, I was able to get the school zone violation eliminated, and then the prosecutor agreed to reduce my client speed to 14 mph over the limit. This is now a city matter and my client will continue to have a clean driving record with the state of Georgia. The laws of the State of Georgia require vehicle headlights to be on in the rain. Drivers often use their flashers when driving in heavy downpours. Using flashers in the rain is legal in Georgia, however most law enforcement officials argue against using flashers. Flashers do increase your visibility to drivers behind you, however they eliminate your ability to use your turn signals. If the rain is so heavy that visibility is limited, your best option is to leave the roadway and stop in a safe location until the rain shower is over. The laws of the State of Georgia require vehicle headlights to be on in the rain.

All of us have experienced driving in a heavy rain downpour. Even if we are driving at a safe speed, some other vehicles seem to fly by without regard for the rain, or the visibility, or the road conditions. When driving fast in the rain, even if you are doing the speed limit, you can be stopped by law-enforcement, and ticketed for driving too fast for conditions. Most assuredly, if your car slides off the road, when the police arrive, you will be ticketed for driving too fast for conditions. Slow down when it rains, drive safely, and keep your eyes focused on the car ahead. Look twice, save a life, motorcycles are everywhere. Motorcycles share the same road and obey the same rules as any other vehicle. The greatest risk to motorcyclist is when the rider makes a left-hand turn. The motorcyclist is in danger of being hit by left and right approaching vehicles. In comparison to trucks and cars, motorcycles are small and difficult to see. When approaching an intersection, always look left and right carefully, to spot a motorcycle trying to enter traffic.
