Many courts in metro Atlanta remain closed The Atlanta Metro courts are slowly opening. My court work has been canceled for several days because of hurricane Irma. I have been working from home on numerous clients behalf. All of my clients court cases have been rescheduled for a date in the future. Often, court delays benefit my clients. The officer that wrote the ticket may have a conflict and be unable to appear in court. With a backlog in cases, the county or state maybe more willing to negotiate a settlement that benefits my client. Sometimes, the case simply falls through the cracks. The Atlanta Metro courts are slowly opening.
