Fighting client's aggressive driving charge in Marietta On August 17, 2017, I appeared with my client in the Marietta municipal court, for a non-jury trial. The codefendant in this case was not represented by an attorney, and there was no entry of his appearance. Following negotiations with the prosecutor and based on the codefendants extensive criminal history, the prosecutor will likely dismiss my client's charge of aggressive driving. This case was reset in the future for a non-jury trial.Fighting client's aggressive driving charge in Marietta On August 17, 2017, I appeared with my client in the Marietta municipal court, for a non-jury trial.

On August 16, 2017, I met with my client in the state court of Coweta County. My client had been charged with reckless driving. She had been involved in a serious auto accident, which resulted in her own significant injuries. Given the nature of the incident, my client was concerned about serving jail time for this reckless driving ticket. I spoke with the prosecutor before arriving at the court and following additional in court negotiations, I got the prosecutor agreed to a no low plea with a $500 fine. There would be no probation, no jail time served. My client was extremely happy with this result. 770-408-1001 www.lawofficeofscottmiller.comOn August 16, 2017, I met with my client in the state court of Coweta County. Take a second look before backing up to prevent accidents! When backing up, be it on the street or in a parking lot, be careful not to strike any objects. If you strike another object either another vehicle or a stationary object like a sign or fence post with your vehicle, it is considered a vehicular collision. The laws of the state of Georgia require that you to search for the owner of the property, and if you not able to locate this person, you must leave your personal information and contact numbers in a prominent location, so that the owner of the vehicle or other property can contact you. If you leave the site of a collision where your vehicle collided with another vehicle or a stationary object, without leaving your personal information, you could be charged with the criminal misdemeanor of leaving the side of an accident. The speed limit on Georgia-400 is 65 MPH as it passes through Alpharetta. Often drivers exceed this limit slightly, however some have been stopped at much higher speeds. If the speed is less than 14 over, I can often get this charge dismissed. If the speed is exceedingly high it may be more difficult to find common ground with the court, but I can often do it. As for my two clients, today I got both charges dismissed. These are two happy clients of the Alpharetta, Georgia speeding ticket defense attorney Scott Miller.I appeared in the Alpharetta Municipal Court to defend two clients. Each had been charged separately, with speeding on Georgia 400.

Defending client in Roswell against reckless driving I appeared in the Roswell Municipal Court accompanied by my client to, fight his reckless driving charge. My client had been stopped for driving at a speed that the arresting officer considered to be reckless behavior while driving. My client has a 3.6 high school average, and is scheduled to begin the fall semester at the University of Georgia. I conferred with the prosecutor and pointed out that a possible harsh sentence from the court may jeopardize my client's future at the University of Georgia and that this is his first in a lifetime traffic ticket. After lengthy consultation, I got the court to agree to reduce my client's speed to 14 over and to dismiss the reckless driving charge.I appeared in the Roswell Municipal Court accompanied by my client to, fight his reckless driving charge.
