Speeding ticket on GA-400 dismissed. My second client of the day in Alpharetta was stopped on GA-400 while traveling 93 mph in a 65 mph zone. I was able to convince the prosecutor to reduce his speed to 14 mph over the limit. Following the reduction in speed, I was able to get this ticket dismissed. With the speed reduced to 14 over the limit this issue was no longer a super speeder ticket and would not be forwarded to the state of Georgia for additional penalties. My client is another very happy client of the Alpharetta, Georgia speeding ticket defense attorney Scott Miller. My second client of the day in Alpharetta was stopped on GA-400 while traveling 93 mph in a 65 mph zone.

On Wednesday 6/21/18 I appeared in Alpharetta City Court to defend a client against hit and run. Georgia code 40 – 6–270, defines hit and run as leaving the scene of an accident. Hit and run is a criminal misdemeanor, however if someone is injured, hit and run can be charged as a felony. My first client of the day had received a ticket for hit and. This ticket was his first in a lifetime traffic ticket. After striking a parked car my client wasn’t able to find the driver. Georgia Law requires that if you cannot find the driver of the vehicle that was hit, you are required to leave identifying contact information including your name and telephone number in a prominent location. In this particular case my client was unaware of the law and left the scene of the accident. On Wednesday 6/21/18, I appeared in Alpharetta City Court to defend a client against hit and run.

Don’t wait, call a traffic ticket defense attorney today! Yesterday, I received a call from a man who has a traffic ticket arraignment scheduled in Atlanta Municipal Court tomorrow. His question to me was, what should I do? One day before the court arraignment is not a good time to ask for advice about traffic tickets. The only advice I could give him was, if he wants to fight this ticket, he should contact the clerk of the court and ask to have his arraignment rescheduled for a later date. This extra time will give him the opportunity to get a traffic defense attorney to represent him. If he is a not a habitual traffic violator, there’s a good chance that his ticket could be dismissed.Yesterday, I received a call from a man who has a traffic ticket arraignment scheduled in Atlanta Municipal Court tomorrow. The Georgia code 40-6-49 states that while operating a motor vehicle on a road or highway, a driver must maintain sufficient distance between their vehicle the vehicle front to avoid a collision caused by a sudden stop of the vehicle in front. This safe Space between vehicles increases dramatically on wet and slippery pavement.
