My client had been charge with a stop sign violation. This is violation is more complicated for my client, because he is under 21 years of age. Following negotiations with the prosecutor, I got the court to agree to reduce the charge to a basic rules violation. A basic rules violation is a non reportable event, and there will be no points added to my client's drivers record. This is very important because he is under 21 years of age. Fighting client’s super speeder ticket in Cherokee Co. On October 4, 2017, I appeared along with my client in the Cherokee County Court. My client have been charged with a super speeder violation. On this particular road there had been a recent traffic fatality. The prosecutor was unwilling to reduce the speed on my client’s ticket, because of the recent fatality, but the prosecutor did agree to a minimal fine. This is one of those unusual situations, when the speed of the ticket could not be reduced.
