School zone speeding ticket Drive in a school zone like your children were on the sidewalk. Speed limits are always reduced in school zones. Too often, vehicles moving in a school zone ignore the reduced speed limit. Image your children walking to school along the sidewalks with vehicles speeding by. While driving watch for signs announcing an upcoming school zone and slow your vehicle before entering it. Law-enforcement officers are always present when children are coming to and going home from school. They are charged with protecting our children.
