Fighting client's following too close accident ticket. I appeared in DeKalb Recorders Court along with my client to fight her following too close/accident charge. After negotiations with the prosecutor, I had this case reset to a later date to provide for further discovery.

Fighting for client's rights in a drug case. I appeared in Alpharetta City Court on behalf of my client. She is presently in an inpatient program, at a drug addiction treatment facility, and she cannot attend this hearing. This hearing is about a city ordinance, disorderly conduct incident. I entered a plea on her behalf to close this case.

Today, I met with the prosecutor in the Alpharetta Municipal Court. We discussed my clients who were charged with various violations, including speeding, following too close, shoplifting, and DUI. This pretrial meeting with the court officers, helps me understand the courts position and allows me to craft the defense of my clients.

I appeared in Milton City Court accompanied by my client. She had been charged with possession of marijuana less than 1 ounce. Following discussions with the court, I got the prosecutor to agree to a hold in clear. This means that after my client completes certain obligations, the charge will be dismissed. My client will not have a marijuana possession charge on her record.

Fighting client's drug related DUI in Roswell, GA I appeared in Roswell City Court for my client in an administrative license suspension hearing. Her DUI charge was a DUI drugs charge. My client was undergoing inpatient drug treatment and she was in able to attend the hearing. The arresting officer observed my client's impairment during a traffic stop. I got the officer to agree to a reset. The reset date in the future, would allow my client to complete her inpatient drug program.

Fighting teenagers aggressive driving in Alpharetta. I appeared with my client, who is a 17-year-old high school senior, in the Alpharetta City Court. He had been charged with aggressive driving. I got the prosecutor to agree to a hold and clear. The hold in clear gives my client 90 days to perform specific obligations, and in 90 days the charge would be considered dismissed. The results will be as if this incident had never happened. If my client had been found guilty today, his license to drive would have been suspended.
