I got the prosecutor to agree to a hold and clear. The hold in clear gives my client 90 days to perform specific obligations, and in 90 days the charge would be considered dismissed. The results will be as if this incident had never happened. If my client had been found guilty today, his license to drive would have been suspended. The fact that she is under 21 years of age increases the severity of the penalty, if she is found guilty. I provided evidence to the court that the other driver's auto claim was satisfied.
