subway employee shoots robber According to a AJC.com, an armed man attempting to rob a subway store in Cobb County was shot by one of the store's employees. The robber fled the scene and was later found at Kennesaw medical center. Police detectives are looking for other people, who may have been involved. If you have, information about other suspects, you are urged to contact the Cobb County police. Always be vigilant and if you witness something that makes you uncomfortable, you should leave the location.

Man stabbed at Atlanta Dunkin Donuts According to AJC.com, a customer at Dunkin Donuts on Piedmont Avenue, was stabbed after he refused to give money to another customer. The victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and was reported to be alert and conscious. The suspect is reportedly still on the loose. Always be aware of your surroundings, and move away from any uncomfortable situation that you find yourself in.

On September 19, 2016, I appeared with my client in a Gwinnett Superior Court. My client, who is 21 years of age, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and other drug related charges. Based on the fact that, I already had my client evaluated for drug and alcohol abuse, and the fact that he is in a rehabilitation program, I got the case resolved by entering a plea of guilty under the first offender act. Following completion by my client of all of his obligations, the result will be that, he will not be convicted of this offense.

On a recent NBC nightly news program, one of their major news stories was about current scams in America. They reviewed in detail the grandmother grandfather scam. This scam is perpetrated by criminals calling grandparents and frightening them with a terrible story about their grandchild. This usually has to do with a phony DUI charge, and the criminal calling you, demands money immediately or something dreadful, will happen to the grandchild. Unfortunately many grandparents have been scammed out of their hard earned savings.

July 13, 2016, NBC says, "be aware of the grandparents scam!" One of tonight's lead to stories on the NBC Network TV News, was the widespread grandparents scam. Grandparents are being called by legitimate sounding people, who are criminals, telling them that their grandson has been arrested for DUI. This criminal claims to be a court official or an attorney representing their grandson. The grandparents are told to send a significant amount of money, to a certain location immediately, or something awful is going to happen to their grandson.
