On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress, meeting in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania adopted the declaration of independence. It declared The United States of America as a sovereign country, separate and free from British rule.
Today in the year 2015, as on all past July 4th days we celebrate both the birthday of our country as well as our independence from Great Britain.
On July 4, 1863 the Confederate Army surrenders at Vicksburg.
On July 4, 1826, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson both of whom were president of the United States die. This day was the 50th anniversary of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.

These courses will teach defending yourself against rape.
