Today, I received a call from a potential client who hired me to fight his probation violation charge in Alpharetta, and a diffrent charge in Roswell.
This particular client received a probated sentence for violating Georgia's controlled substance act in Alpharetta, Georgia.
He was stopped recently for speeding in Roswell and, he was arrested for marijuana possession.
My client who is now back in jail has two problems.
First, he violated his original probation, and secondly, he has a new charge of misdemeanor marijuana possession of less than 1 ounce.
Each of these two items will be addressed separately. One in Sandy Springs and the other in Alpharetta.
This particular type of problem requires an experienced probation violation defense attorney to get the best results.
I am hopeful that I will be able to negotiate a settlement, in both courts, that will be beneficial to my client.
