I am defending my client against the charge of DUI in Milton, Georgia. His blood alcohol level was .08 which in Georgia classifies as DUI.

A healthy liver can detoxify 1 ounce of alcohol in 1 hour. If you have 2 drinks containing 1 ounce of alcohol within one hour, it will take your liver approximately 2 hours to detoxify this amount.
This question always arises. If I have 1 or 2 ounces of alcohol with my dinner at a restaurant, is it safe to drive home?
The absolute best answer is to not drink alcohol if you intend to drive, if you do however, you should have a designated driver who is not drinking.
